Taboo (1980)

Kay Parker portrays a woman whose husband has left her for his young secretary, forcing her and their son to fend for themselves. In order to put her life back together, she takes a secretarial job. After her boss makes an uncomfortable pass at her and she falls into the divorcee's role of meaningless parties and blind dates, she becomes caught in a vortex of lust and passion for her young son Paul.

TABOO is a landmark adult film. It is the first adult film to have seriously focused on the subject of incest and presents it with "serious passion and excitement," according to Adam Film World. In 1983, it also scored another first when it received an unprecedented nod from the prestigious Video Software Dealers Association. This recognition was considered by many as a turning point in the acceptance of adult entertainment by the mainstream video industry. Finally, due to its overwhelming popularity, it was the first adult motion picture with numerous sequels in release.

Brief Affair (1982)

Another charmer from the Lewis "family" (Louie in the director's chair as usual, with "sister" Jo Ann producing in this case), "Brief Affair" is a good example of the breezy, light-hearted kind of adult movie these people specialized in. Though modestly budgeted, their films always had a glossy look courtesy of fine cinematography and soft, hazy back-lighting – invariably uncredited – and the presence of a large number of industry alumni. In terms of quality, this one's just a cut below their best (a triumvirate consisting of "Touch Me in the Morning", "Memphis Cathouse Blues" and "Please, Mr. Postman") but still well ahead of their "9 to 5" parody "8 TO 4".

Jack and Lenny are two guys whose one aim is to lay down as many girls as possible. Jack never fails to score, while poor Lenny always strikes out and ends up watching. This night, in a bar called Pink Paradise, four couples will have their lives changed forever. Min (Tracy Adams) and Bill (Ron Jeremy) were flying to a sex clinic but the delay sends them into a bar where they meet the strange Mr. Pink (Michael Knight). He makes the unhappy couple an astounding offer.... One year of incredible sex by just drinking his special "Pink Drink." However, they must show up next year for a refill. Min and Bill accept the drinks and are instantly turned into sex-hungry machines.

In the airport ladies room, Carol (Melissa Melendez) weeps over the fact that she must spend her wedding night sitting on her luggage instead of her husband's (Rod Retta) hot tool.
