The fabulous Seka needs no introduction to fans of porno movies. One of the true superstars of the erotic film industry, she has been called the quintessential pornstar. This writer had been trying to interview Seka for two years, and finally caught up with her a few months ago in San Francisco, where she was making some videos. Our extremely intimate interview was conducted at Trader Vic's Restaurant.

ClassicAdultVideo: You're big box office in the X-rated film and television market, aren't you?

SEKA: I've done a lot of X-rated films and video cassettes. I've been around the block, you might say. The films and video, for the most part, have been good (laughs). There are too many to name... You've probably seen some of them. Do you masturbate watching my films?

CAV: I have... (laughs) Inside Seka was one of my favorites. And do you enjoy masturbation?

Peaches and Cream is another ambitious presentation by Select-Essex, the folks who brought you Sex World, A Thousand and One Erotic Nights, and Country Comfort, to name but a few. Select's vision is to purify porn - to mainstream it so that it's palatable to even the most squeamish audiences. When we're talking about squeamish in regard to adult cinema, we're talking about that oft alluded to quantity, "the female audience". As video specialists, Select-Essex is trying to effortlessly to attract this errant prospective porn population, and Peaches and Cream is perhaps most exemplary of this tradition.

Peaches and Cream is a remarkable film to me for three main reasons, which I hope to impart to you before the close of this review (unless I forget). Worthy of note was the tone of the film, which seemed to me to earnestly attempt steering clear of objectifying statements about women. One important scene, in fact, shows a sultry Annette Haven putting a lecherous businessman in his place for daring to suggest a little "favor". This is quite worthy of note.




Another reason this movie tickled my- er, uh - fancy - is that it is the first, premiere performance of Ms. Sparky Vasc in a film. The editorial department was all so proud of Sparky, and we played back the scenes of her marvelous blow job several times following afternoon tea. Sparky looks great! Her first scene is with another black woman, dancing sensuously at a private party. Her gorgeous black skin had been polished with care, glistening like a chunk of anthracite. Peter becomes obsessed with his efforts to break into the dating network. He doesn't even notice when his girlfriend walks out on him. He keeps at it until he breaks the Compudate code. Now he can date any girl who turns him on. His first date is Colleen, a spoiled rich girl who teaches Peter some kinky tricks that are new to him.

Identifying himself as "John Smith", our hero rifles through the tapes of all the available girls. His next choice is Becky, whose fantasy is to have a biker screw her on his bike after being massaged with crankcase oil. Peter fulfills Beck's wild fantasy. Eagerly he goes on, matching his own sex fantasies with those of the girls.



Next Peter comes up with a bosomy artist named Chantelle, who along with her girlfriend, has a yearn to model sex scenes for somebody else. Peter is happy to accommodate the two girls, and they plunge merrily into action, while Peter gets powerfully turned on just by watching them. It's the perfect matching-up of a pair of exhibitionists with an appreciative voyeur.

This is the picture for which John Leslie won his second Erotica Award as Best Actor in 1982. Wicked Sensations has been something of a sleeper, receiving less publicity than has Nothing To Hide, the Best Picture winner in which Leslie also starred. 'Wicked' was produced by Jerry Ross, producer of the original Talk Dirty To Me which won John his first Best Actor in '81.

John plays a successful writer and Annette Haven is his live-in girlfriend who's a bit on the unresponsive side so that he's driven to other women - not that he needs much driving. The horny and restless John likes to climb out onto his apartment balcony and watch his neighbor and friend Paul Thomas ball the assorted girls he brings home. Annette catches John watching Paul putting it to Mai Lin. She's horrified and insists he go to a shrink to find out what's wrong with him and get his terrible sexual compulsion relieved.

Paul recommends a doctor friend of his; when John goes to see the doctor he finds himself making love to one of his patients and is disillusioned. He follows her and learns she's going away on a skiing holiday in the mountains. When John goes home unrepentant his Annette throws him out. So John and Paul get together and take off for the mountain ski resort to search for Diana.
