Harry (Eric Edwards) is a motion-picture director that has fallen upon hard times. In order to make some quick cash he decides to make a porno film, which is what he did to get started making films anyway. His wife Miriam (Sharon Mitchell) is flabbergasted when she hears the news. She starts to give her husband one hell of a hard time, especially when she catches him fucking the Oriental maid (Mai Lin) in the bathroom, and she all but destroys his shooting schedule. Joanna Storm, Lee Carroll and Sharon Kane are also featured in this Henri Pachard film.

Gerard "Deep Throat" Damiano has just finished another epic. This one is called The Satisfiers of Alpha Blue, and I'd like to tell you about it - or rather, I'd like him to tell you about it if you can wait for just a few paragraphs.

The Satisfiers of Alpha Blue is a really hot picture about sex in the 21st century and you'll be happy to hear that romance as well as sex survives, too. Alpha Blue is a space-age sexual resort where dreams are carried out with the push of a button. Want a playmate - or two, or three - or just a hot voice to talk you off? Just punch your fantasies into the teleporter, and your wishes come true. Don't you love it already? Some of the erotic cinema's loveliest ladies materialize out of thin air - Lysa Thatcher, Hillary Summers, Annie Sprinkle, Jody Maxwell, Tiffany Clark, Lee Carroll and Sharon Mitchell all "beam in" to satisfy future fantasies aided by  nearly a dozen other yummy gals.

Alpha Blue takes its sex seriously. The Satisfiers - the hosts and hostesses of this erotic resort - are carefully trained for love-making. Through Damiano's loving direction and exquisite close-up photography, you'll watch the Satisfiers practice their arts with enthusiasm rarely seen on screen. Even the credit sequences are wetter and wilder than most films' hottest scenes!



Now, for some inside dirt - I knew this flick was hot even before it hit the editing table. For one thing, our own sex life was FANTASTIC during the actual shooting. I mean, it's always fantastic, but those 12-hour shooting days take their toll. Not this time, though - I thought Damiano was having a second puberty! Then, there were all those new romances happening everywhere we looked.

Tiffany Clark flew in from her native Los Angeles for the film, and fell madly in love with one member of the production staff, Fred Lincoln. (Lincoln is a filmmaker in his own right - his Same Time, Every Year will be released soon.) Anyway, Tiffany never quite made it back to L.A., and she's now happily sewing curtains for their new apartment here in New York. Ain't love grand? Then there was Jody Maxwell, who fell in love with the whole crew - and them with her, of course. It's rumored that more than one technician lost his heart, too, when Jody performed "I Left My Heart In San Francisco", demonstrating why they call her The Singing Cocksucker from Kansas City. Last but not least, Annie Sprinkle rang up professional dominatrix Queen Adrena in California, and borrowed the Queen's personal slave, Mal O'Rey for the lovingest leather-and-golden-shower scene ever filmed. Annie and O'Rey became great and good friends thereafter.

With all this loving going on off the set, you just gotta know that things stayed hot on camera. The vibes were right, and the final product shows it, like nothing else you've ever seen. Damiano says The Satisfiers is the most erotic film ever made.

PAULA: What makes The Satisfiers of Alpha Blue different from your other works?

GERARD: I don't think it is different - but it's a culmination of all my other films. The Satisfiers is based on the premise of a future society in which sex is completely open and without guilt - and what would happen in that environment. so the film is really a blending of everything I've done before.

Lisa seeks help from her girl friend Renee and confides in her wild fantasies, which are becoming more and more bizarre. A photo shooting for a macho underwear ad becomes a "shoot-off" as the three musclemen zero in on Lisa's crotch and mouth. And then there's the fabulous fantasy scene in the health club, where the sexy masseuse (Anna Ventura) dives right into her work and the horny young towel-boy joins in.

Constance Money (The Opening of Misty Beethoven) is back on the adult screen after an absence of five years. As all good porn fans know, the fresh-faced, vital, captivating Constance is the star who zoomed to fame with her memorable performance in the 1976 award-winning classic The Opening of Misty Beethoven. Constance retired to private life after making a few more movies, but the continuing popularity of Misty and the praise she received for it finally induced her to come back. Produced by Mike Paulson, A Taste of Money is supposed to be the true life story of her return to erotic movies. Almost true, anyway.

Teamed with Constance in A Taste are top adult film stars John Leslie and Jamie Gillis, who along with Sharon Mitchell give Connie advice as she ponders the offer of an eager producer (Paul Thomas) to come back to the X-rated scene. The plot gets rather complex. Constance gets advice from her friend Sharon, while a masseur works her over.

Skin Flicks (1978)

The story line of Skin Flicks is uncomplicated and doesn't get in the way of the raunchy action. In a nutshell, it tells about making a sex film and the problems of the director who wants to produce a film that is as beautiful as it is erotic. Conflict comes when the film's backer, the big money man, demands lots of sex action and no frills.

The director, played by Tony Hudson, adds to his problems when he falls for the leading lady (Sharon Mitchell). He has to figure out how to direct her in sex scenes with other men and still keep his head screwed on straight. Later, he faces an artistic crisis; he has almost all of a big, beautiful, adult sex film in the can but he can't figure out a logical erotic ending. Everything works out okay, however.

Along the way, there are a lot of dynamite sex scenes. Porn film veteran Jamie Gillis appears in a heavy role. He insists on seducing all the beautiful actresses. But major credit for the success of Skin Flicks must go to its young, energetic cast - and especially to beautiful Colleen Davis. With her talented mouth and tongue and her use of all her female erotic techniques, Colleen is a standout. One of her sex scenes is absolutely unforgettable.

The men in the cast have a lot going for them. All are well equipped and display big sexual appetites and athletic skill. When the sexes get together - as they frequently do -the footage is brilliant and full of erotic variations and sizzling closeups. It all adds up to a film that is tender and sensual... revealing and memorable.
Skin Flicks adds yet another jewel to the crown worn by Gerard Damiano as "the king of erotic films." His direction of such lovely newcomers as Colleen Davis and Gina Harlow ranks with the work he did in "Deep Throat" and "The Devil in Miss Jones."

The story gets underway as he tries to place her soul in nubile bodies on earth that are increasingly removed from opportunities for sex, in order to jealously deny her the one thing she craves. He finally tries the body of a nun, but this brings him into conflict with HIM, resulting in a humorous finale.

Personal Touch II (1983)
